These Terms govern your use of the Refinish It website (refinishit-bay.com) and any request for or purchase of our refinishing services. By using the site or contacting us, you agree to these Terms.
How photo quotes work
When you text or send us a photo, we provide a written price based on the information and images you give us. A photo quote is our good-faith fixed price for the work described. If conditions differ materially from what the photo showed (for example, hidden damage, structural issues, or a different surface or size than described), we will tell you before any additional work and you can approve or decline. We honor a quoted price as stated in our written quote (typically locked for 30 days).
Scheduling & payment
Work is scheduled by mutual agreement. Payment terms are stated in your written quote. You are responsible for providing safe, reasonable access to the work area and for removing personal items unless otherwise agreed.
Workmanship warranty
Eligible refinishing work is backed by our written warranty (currently 5 years on materials and workmanship for covered services), subject to the terms provided with your job. The warranty covers adhesion and finish defects under normal use and proper care; it does not cover damage from abuse, abrasive cleaners, impact, or alterations. Follow the care instructions we provide to keep your warranty valid.
Estimates, pricing & content
Prices, ranges, timelines, and savings figures shown on this website are illustrative and may vary with the condition, size, and specifics of your project; your written quote controls. We work to keep information accurate but do not warrant that all site content is error-free or current.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and photos when requesting a quote.
- Use the site lawfully and not attempt to disrupt or misuse it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Refinish It is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under our written warranty and California law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.
